Rainmaker, Inc., a Charleston-based political consulting, public affairs and advertising firm, was honored by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) at the 17th Annual Pollie Awards and Conference with seven Pollies on March 11, 2011. The awards were presented at the organization’s annual meeting in Washington D.C.

The local firm was awarded a gold award (highest honor) for a radio ad produced for the American Federation of Teachers AFT-WV and the West Virginia School Service Personnel Association. Rainmaker won silver and bronze Pollies for mail produced for Senator Ron Stollings and radio and TV ads for Senator Truman Chafin.
